I think long hair is an attractive physical feature in a lady. Properly maintained, long hair is reminiscent of the days of romance and chivalry. Whenever I go out I see loads of women on the streets with super short hair and this is particularly unfeminine. Sure, many are copying the images found in the latest editions of their favourite "fashion" magazine and want to emulate the popular androgynous look that is so pervasive these days. But does it always follow that what is popular is really attractive? I don't think so. Come now, is it really so hard to attempt to look like a woman if you're a woman?

Spirituality, Superstitions & More
I do not believe in spirituality or anything related to unscientific, unproven things or phenomena. From Tarot cards to seeing stones to palm reading to astrology - these are trash and should not be believed especially in this supposedly modern day and age. When will people realize that true happiness comes from being kind to others, loving your family and one person all your life, being respectful and staying trust to yourself?
I do not believe in ghosts, vampires, zombies, reincarnation, feng shui or any other of the many superstitions created by man. If you are afraid of a number 13, 7, 11 or whatever- why? This is the problem I encountered on a ride at Disney once - the Tower of Terror which dropped from the 13th floor. Ooh. Scary.
Are you afraid of a black cat? Are they going to make evil things happen to you? Give me a break. The most realistic thing a cat can do to you is a) bite you or b) give you fleas.
You know, there are so many real and probable things to worry about instead of stupid nonsensical things like the black arts or the devil. Try mortgage payments, illnesses in the family, whether or not your family has all it needs to survive. Those are essential concerns. All the make-believe is insignificant.
I read the paper on the Tube last night and it read "Mr. H---- is a spiritual advisor who can help you with all things in your life." Sure. After he takes a great deal of your money first.
All I'm saying is, go ahead read the made-up astrology section for a laugh, but don't take it seriously. Don't make your life decisions based on what the gypsy lady tells you at the fair. You are too intelligent for that, or at least I hope you are.
Back in London
I am back in London and am very much enjoying being again in the company of my beloved. I arrived and it was a beautiful, sunny day and then it became gray and rainy later on in the day. My great boyfriend brought up the fact that two years ago, I never would have thought about staying in England for a time. I had previously visited twice - once on my own and once with my family, but I never thought I'd be staying here for a few months. It's amazing really. How much your life can change in so short a time. But, I welcome the change. I have also graduated from the University of Central Florida and will receive both degrees within six weeks or so. Who knows what will happen in the future? All I know is I am happy at this moment.
