Children & Families

by LaReineAndrea @ 2008-06-25 - 20:11:20

My family and I are at this moment anxiously awaiting my sister's delivery of her second child, another son. While she has not yet been taken to the hospital, the doctors believe she will be ready tomorrow. I shall go to her house and take care of my four year old nephew while her husband helps her deliver the baby.

She was put on bedrest yesterday and we shall wait approximately one week until the baby is due.

This is yet another one of those periods in life where everything changes, and we must adapt to those changes accordingly.

I admire both my sisters in that they are mothers in the traditional sense of the word. They are stay-at-home mothers, a state which gives feminists so much fury, but they are happy and love their lives more than ever now.

I shall soon be Auntie Andie to seven children!
